Leisure League 2004 Event 3 - 50 in 4   Sunday March 21st 2004 Forty cyclists turned out for the annual 50 in 4 on Sunday last 21th March. The event attracted a good selection of racing members, leisure cyclists and some guests. It started from the Papal Cross at a brisk pace into a strong head wind but settled down to a more leisurely pace with the speed being controlled by regular changes to the time spent at the front. The route followed a similar direction to last year covering a distance of 53 miles. Apart from a light shower the day remained dry throughout with the main group making it back to the Park before the heavy afternoon showers. Three points were awarded for this event. The next leisure event is the Peaks and Valleys tour starting from the square shopping centre Tallaght on Sunday 18th April.
